RE: Support Testimony and Request for Amendment to Bill 131 ,,_
Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members,
The Keaukaha Pana`ewa Farmers Association represents Hawaiian Home Lands beneficiaries on
agricultural Trust Lands in Pana`ewa.
We are in support of Bill 131 and extend our appreciation to Council Member Ashley Kierkiewicz
and her staff for all their hard work on this bill.
However, we are requesting that Section 3 of the bill be revised to add the following terms in red
below. We want to ensure that the appropriate legal terms are used to legally integrate Resolution
416-24 into Bill 131.

The policy directive set forth in Resolution No. 416-24 is hereby incorporated as referenced
herein.
