Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 439-24,reports as follows:
Resolution No. 439-24,transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa, via Communication
No. 729 dated February 1, 2024, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than
one fiscal year for a multi-year lease for one multi-function digital imaging device for the Department
of Liquor Control.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an approximate
monthly cost of$300,to be used by the department's Hilo office.
Finance Director Diane Nakagawa provided some background.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 439-24, and
recommends its adoption.
