Dear Chair Kierkiewicz and Members:
Subject: Bill 134, Relating to Amendments Initiated by Property Owners and Other Persons
Unfortunately, due to a conflict I will not be available at 1:30pm tomorrow to address Bill 134 at
the Policy Committee on Planning, Land Use, and Development (PCPLUD). In addition, I will
not be available for the next hearing on March 19, 2024. Hence, I respectfiilly request this
matter be deferred to the April 2, 2024, PCPLUD hearing.
As the Council is aware the Planning Commission has been inundated with applications and
referrals; by deferring Bill 134 to the April 2, 2024, PCPLUD hearing it will provide our staff
and the Planning Commissioners with much needed relief.
