Subject: Puna Alternate Routes
Dear Council, I am writing to express my strong support for the Puna Alternate Routes study, but I
urge the Council to include alongside evacuation route concerns the potential for creating new
recreation pathways and bike lanes. There has been some discussion of turning Railroad Road into a
recreation pathway and I agree that recreation and evacuation routes should both be considered in this
planning process.
