Subject: In support of Resolution 443-24
Aloha Finance Committee,
I am writing in support of Resolution 443-24 for groundwater testing Makai of Puna Geothermal Plant all
the way to the ocean for confirmation that our land, people, animals, aquatic life, and all other life are
not adversely impacted by the activities of PGV while they generate energy.
This studies and all costs related to them ought to be the duty of PGV and all testing should be done by a
neutral 3rd party not affiliated with PGV in any way.
Our clean water is imperative to all life and it is the birthright of all of us.
