ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Res. 436-24: AUTHORIZES THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI-YEAR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT Authorizes the County to enter into a three-year employment contract for an Early Childhood Resource Associate to assist with expanding access to affordable and high-quality childcare and education. Res. 443-24: AUTHORIZES THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY FOR A WATER QUALITY STUDY OF THE LOWER PUNA REGION Allocates $428,000 from the County Geothermal Relocation and Community Benefits Fund to conduct a study on the potential effects geothermal energy production may have on potable water sources and the near-ocean environment.
