Aloha council members,
I'm very disappointed with the weak and indirect language in Reso 449-24.This reso was being looked at
as a way to express the deepest level of distress, support, morality,strength, anger, bewilderment, and
countless other gut-level feelings and thoughts of the people of our nation and, in particular, residents of
this county, about the genocide happening in Gaza. In fact, Gaza or Israel aren't even mentioned in the
resolution that I can see.
I strongly agree with testimony you received from Jim Albertini on this reso and ask that you amend it to
include all of the important points he made. The goal is for the People's voice to be heard from as away
our island in support of the thousands of innocent people who are being tortured and exterminated
needlessly and with the hate and vindictiveness of a leader gone mad.
