Re: Salary Ordinance of 2024 iAZ
s_.�1 =Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to be known as the Salary Ordinance of 2024. The
significant amendments are:
1. Section 3 (A) (B) Rate of Compensation. Pay Grade.
• AD - S, changing salary from 66,578 to 66,582
• AU - C, changing salary from 52,870 to 52,872
• AU- 0, changing salary from 94,940 to 94,944
• AU - P, changing salary from 99,686 to 99,690
2. Section 7.01 (a) Office of the County Clerk
At Office of the County Clerk's request,the following position was removed:
Legal Specialist, LE-2, from the Legislative Branch, Office of the County Clerk, as
that position will no longer be utilized; pay grade section no longer includes LE-2 pay
grade and A to I salary rates.
3. Section 7.02 (a) County Physician. Office of Management. •
The Office of Management requested the following adjustments:
1 County Physician $105,684
2 Assistant County Physician $95,916

In addition, the salary ordinance reflects the current minimum wage of$14.00, which
became effective January 1, 2024; level II hourly positions reflect $14.50, and level III
