SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 449-24, Draft 3; a Resolution Demonstrating
the Aloha Spirit and Fostering Peace, Diplomacy, and Unity within the
County of Hawaii, the State of Hawaii, and Beyond.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 449-24, Draft 3. During its meeting on March 20, 2024,
the Council amended Resolution No. 449-24, Draft 2 with the contents of Communication No.
754.63, resulting in this Draft 3.
The Council voted to suspend Rule No. 23 -1 (d) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of
the Council of the County qfHawai'i, which requires the holdover of a substantively amended
resolution, and then adopted Resolution No. 449-24, as amended to Draft 3.
