I support Bill 140-24 to increase the kalapana transfer station opperation to a minimum of two days per
week and to provide recycling bins.
This will decrease the stench caused by the accumulation of garbage, prevent further infestation of rats
in our neighborhoods, and lessen the illegal littering and dumping of garbage in the wrong places.This
will also save residents in the area the time and money it takes to drive to Pahoa to dump their trash.
