Aloha Council Members,
I urge you to pass Bill 125.
I live in Niuli'i, 1.5 miles from Polak]. While I was driving home recently, I came very close to killing a woman who had
fallen off her bicycle on a blind curve at Makapala. Terrifying!
I have also experienced several other near misses of bicyclists still on their bikes on both Mountain Road and Akoni Pule
Hwy east of Kapa'au.
On both roads,there is no shoulder,there are many blind curves,and many riders are inexperienced. Bad combo!
Fatalities and injuries waiting to happen.
Please don't let it. Pass Bill 125
