• <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <• �;'= STATE OF HAWAII <br /> • OP•N►N,- <br /> BILL NO. 147 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24- <br /> 279, SCHEDULE 27 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION,AS <br /> AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING ON PAVEMENT PROHIBITED AT ALL <br /> TIMES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to promote vehicular access and <br /> pedestrian safety on a narrow section of roadway. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-279, schedule 27, entitled <br /> "Parking on pavement prohibited at all times," subsection"(d) Ka`u," of the Hawai`i County <br /> Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding a new listing to be appropriately <br /> inserted and to read as follows: <br /> • Government Road, east side, from a point two hundred and three feet south of Ninole <br /> Loop Road and extending one hundred ten feet in the northern direction. <br /> SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring <br /> need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br />
