SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 467-24; a Resolution
Transferring/Appropriating an Appropriation Out and From a Designated Fund
Account and Crediting Same to a Designated Fund Account to Provide a Grant to
Hawaii Island Adult Care for its Care-oke for Kupuna Event.
Please see below proposed amendments to Resolution No. 467-24. The proposed amendments
are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 467-24; material to
be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored, A copy of the new
draft of this bill that would result if these proposed amendments were to be adopted is
intentionally omitted due to the limited scope of these proposed amendments.
1. The second WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, HIAC is creating a signature event called Care-oke for [K-up na]
KfipLina to help raise funds for its adult day care program, which is scheduled for
Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Sangha Hall; and"
2. The fourth WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, HIAC is requesting funding to cover the expenses for the venue
rental, security, insurance, decorations, banners, posters, flyers, [gr-aphie desirgnef, s 1
,] karaoke system with lights,
photography and photobooth, videography, and live streaming the event for those who
are unable to attend in person; and"
