COUNTY OF HAWAI`I 1• 6 21 • STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> ♦,TE.OFM'�r. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 479 24 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION'S 2024 SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM AT HALE HALAWAI <br /> PARK IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 7. <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation's 2024 Summer Enrichment <br /> Program at Hale Halawai park, located in Kailua-Kona,provides arts-and-crafts activities, <br /> indoor/outdoor games, sports, music, dance,nature exploration, swimming, special events, and <br /> excursions for students; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting Contingency Relief <br /> funds to purchase camping equipment and supplies, generators, arcade machine, two-way radios, <br /> lighting, smart television, and speaker system for its 2024 Summer Enrichment Program at Hale <br /> Halawai park; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for its 2024 Summer Enrichment Program at Hale Halawai park in Council <br /> District 7. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,000 <br />
