A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION’S
2024 SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM AT HALE HĀLĀWAI PARK IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 7.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation’s 2024 Summer Enrichment Program at Hale Hālāwai park, located in Kailua-Kona, provides arts-and-crafts activities, indoor/outdoor games,
sports, music, dance, nature exploration, swimming, special events, and excursions for students; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting Contingency Relief funds to purchase camping equipment and supplies, generators, arcade machine, two-way radios, lighting,
smart television, and speaker system for its 2024 Summer Enrichment Program at Hale Hālāwai park; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation for its 2024
Summer Enrichment Program at Hale Hālāwai park in Council District 7.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
