Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs,to which was referred
Communication No. 783, reports as follows:
Communication No. 783, transmitted by Mayor Mitchell D. Roth, dated March 13, 2024,
requests the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Mark Davis to the Tax
Board of Review.
Deputy Managing Director Robert Command was present in the Kona Council Office to
introduce Mr. Davis, who was also present in the Kona Office.
Several members spoke in favor of the appointment.
Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Communication No. 783, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of
Mark Davis to the Tax Board of Review.
