I am submitting testimony to the Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs regarding Bill 143.
I am opposed to making any change to Council member term length or limits. Democracy is not served by giving citizens
fewer opportunities to hold officials accountable for their performance. Please focus more on doing the people's work
and less on trying to change the rules for your own benefit. Do your job and good things will follow.
