am in opposition of HAWAI'l COUNTY COUNCIL BILL 143,ncreasing the number of years that a council
member can serve.
My preference is that the bill be set aside. Then,there should be opportunities for communities to
participate in meetings to discuss the option of retaining the current situation or number of years that a
council member can serve as well as the number of times that they can be reelected.
