Aloha Council Members,
As a hobby beekeeper for the past 8 years, I welcome the beekeeping ordinance changes as they will harmonize the
myriad of well-intentioned but improperly applied statutes for Hawaii County beekeeping. The new proposal removes
many ambiguous or undefined requirements in exchange for adoption of best beekeeping practices that have been
proven in many other State,county and City-scapes in the US and Europe. Please adopt these needed changes.
