Good morning!
I am a new beekeeper. I would like to submit testimony that I would like the bee bill to pass. As you
probably know, bees are important in the world and we simply do not have enough bees to pollenate our
plants, trees and crops. Having the ability to have beehives on small properties will enable more people to
have hives. As a teenager, I worked on a farm, and we could tell the difference in productivity of the crops
when a beekeeper (my uncle) placed beehives on the farm properties. Bees will help the farmers provide
more food.
As a side issue, bees make honey which is another food crop that more people should eat instead of
processed sugars.
