Animal Control
You owe the community to use all the resources at your disposal to meet the goals if the community task
force.
These include preemptive action on viscious dog attacks, such as high fines and confiscation of roaming
animals
accessible and low cost spay/neuter to alleviate the massive problem of uncontrolled population growth
which hurts and endangers the animals most of all
and animal welfare including significant fines as well as action blocking cruelty, abuse, neglect and
abandonement, the last of which is chronic and deplorable.
These are the major purposes of Animal Control and without these goals the department is bereft of
meaning.
