Dear Chair Kimball:
Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. § 92-5(a)(4), we request_attorney-client confidential
discussion, in executive session, to consult on questions and issues pertaining to its powers,
duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities regarding the above-referenced Arbitration between,
HGEA and UPW and the County of Hawaii regarding Temporary Hazard Pay.
We request this matter to be placed on the appropriate committee agenda on April 30,
2024 to discuss matters requiring County Council approval. If granted, Corporation Counsel will
appear in person at the Kona Council Chambers.
