Kirnball <br />And Members of the County Council <br />County of Hawai'i <br />Hilo, HI 96720 <br />Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members: <br />I am pleased to nominate Armando Rodriguez of Honomalino to the Leeward Planning <br />Commission. <br />Armando has been a resident of Hawaii Island for over a decade, during which he has made <br />profound contributions to both the local community and various organizations. Notably, he <br />served as a combat engineer for five years with the Army National Guard, and before his military <br />service, Armando lived in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was actively involved in his `Ohana`s <br />constriction business. <br />Armando serves as President of the Aloha Latinos Association and holds the position of Vice <br />President of the Holomalino Road Association, where he plays a pivotal role in advocating for <br />the interests of residents and fostering a sense of unity and cooperation within the community.
