Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Armando Rodriguez of Honomalino to the Leeward Planning
Commission.
Armando has been a resident of Hawaii Island for over a decade, during which he has made
profound contributions to both the local community and various organizations. Notably, he
served as a combat engineer for five years with the Army National Guard, and before his military
service, Armando lived in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was actively involved in his `Ohana`s
constriction business.
Armando serves as President of the Aloha Latinos Association and holds the position of Vice
President of the Holomalino Road Association, where he plays a pivotal role in advocating for
the interests of residents and fostering a sense of unity and cooperation within the community. If
confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2027.
