A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION,
ELDERLY ACTIVITIES DIVISION IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 9.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, oversees five programs: Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Coordinated Services for the Elderly, Hawai‘i
County Nutrition Program, Elderly Recreation Services, and Special Programs; and
WHEREAS, the Elderly Activities Division provides educational and recreational activities, meals during fieldtrips, and other quality of life assistance and activities; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, is requesting Contingency Relief funds to purchase padded folding chairs, water coolers, an inkjet printer,
overhead projector & screen, Bluetooth speakers, microphones, and meals for the seniors during field trips; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation, for its Elderly
Activites Division services provided in Council District 9.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
