Subject: Lukewarm support for Bill 145 regarding LPC nominees
Bill 145 - COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENTAL OPERATIONS AND EXTERNAL AFFAIRS
Aloha committee members,
I support the concept of Bill 145, However, adding the "land development and construction" option is
what the nominees we get look like most of the time.
A person's deepest incentives and focus can't be assumed by their cultural heritage, so this caveat isn't
helpful if diversity of views is the goal.
Please explore new language that would help make this effort and legislation worthwhile. Otherwise, it's
business as usual.
