I am pleased to nominate Chelsea L. Ahern of District 8 to the Transportation Commission.
Chelsea has been a resident of Hawai`i for over a decade. As a Girl Scouts Troop Leader, she has
demonstrated her commitment to empowering and fostering leadership skills and honed her
ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with diverse groups, and problem-solve
creatively.
Chelsea's professional marketing, accounting, and business development background further
enhances her qualifications for this position. Her dedication to community service, diverse skill
set, and professional background make her an exceptional candidate for the Commission. If
confirmed, she will serve a term ending December 31, 2028.
