I am pleased to nominate Daisy Mitchell to the Kona Community Development Plan Action
Committee.
Daisy is a native of Hawai`i and a graduate of Konawaena High School and the University of
Hawaii at Hilo. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in
Management and Human Resources. Since 1980, Daisy has been actively involved in
volunteering for various boards, committees, and nonprofit organizations.
Daisy is deeply embedded in her community. Her extensive involvement reflects her profound
understanding of the local needs and challenges, underscoring her commitment to service and •
community betterment. If confirmed, she will serve a term ending May 31, 2028.
