Re: District 2 Appointment to Youth Commission: Sage Huston
I am pleased to submit Sage Huston as my appointee for the District 2 Commissioner of the
County of Hawai`i Youth Commission.
I had a chance to meet with Sage recently in my office and found Sage to be a well-spoken and
thoughtful individual. Sage is a recent graduate of Kamehameha High School and will be starting
classes at Hawai`i Community College in the future. Sage has been volunteering by helping our
houseless population and is a compassionate advocate who is interested in learning more about
working to find solutions for homelessness that will benefit our community.
Please place this communication on the next Governmental Operations and External Affairs
Committee agenda.
