RESOLUTION NO. 513 24
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR RENOVATIONS AND/OR IMPROVEMENTS
AT VARIOUS PARKS FACILITIES IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 9.
WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation provides the public with many
diversified community and cultural programs at its facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation owns various facilities in need of
maintenance and/or improvements; and
WHEREAS, these improvements include, but are not limited to, facility renovations and
re-roofing of County Parks and Recreational facilities in Council District 9; now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation for renovations and/or improvements at various Parks facilities in Council
District 9.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $22,415
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.33 Department of Parks and Recreation $22,415

(Discretionary Projects—Council District 9 -
110.588.5589.44.115)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
