Proposed Amendments to Resolution No. 497-24; A RESOLUTION
TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO D.A.R.E.
HAWAI`I TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO ITS 2024 D.A.R.E.
DAY CELEBRATION EVENT IN WEST HAWAPI.
Please see the below proposed amendments to Resolution No. 497-24.
The proposed amendment is illustrated below in Ramseyer format as applied to the current
contents of Resolution No. 497-24; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and new
material to be added is underscored. Due to the limited scope of this amendment, a draft copy of
Resolution No. 497-24, in its entirety, that would result if this amendment were adopted is not
attached.
The third WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, D.A.R.E. Hawaii is requesting fiends for [expeases ofJ rock climbing
equipment and slide rental fees, [gifts and] D.A.R.E, materials for graduating students, [as well
as] and refreshments for the students and their families in attendance; and"
