SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 497-24, Draft 2; A RESOLUTION
TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO D.A.R.E.
HAWAI`I TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES RELATED TO ITS 2024 D.A.R.E,
DAY CELEBRATION EVENT IN WEST HAWAI`I.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 497-24, Draft 2. Resolution 497-24 was amended with the
contents of Communication No. 836.1, as duly approved by the Council during its meeting on May
1, 2024.
The Council voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1(d) of the Rules of Procedure and Orgcinization of
the Council, which requires the holdover of a substantively amended resolution, and then
adopted Resolution No. 497-24, as amended to Draft 2.
