Kona has a very serious problem when people leave their Meg CI,iIJs junk cars and "living materials" in our parks and etc. and know that, by Legislative chairman law, their possessions cannot be removed for 24 hours. The new proposed Laura l3utlinger ordinance calling for pick up of anything left between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. will help control this problem. CLwJc 5. Abandoned property prohibited; impoundment. ~ r~ { (a) No person shall abandon any vehicle or other personal property. Any abandoned property [may be removed and impounded] shall he subject to removal and impoundment by the director or the police, to be dealt with according to law. ~ (b) Leaving any vehicle or other personal property [unattended for longer than twenty four hours] after 11:00 p.m. and before 7:00 a.m., wiihout prior perzrrission of the director is prohibited and any property so left [may be impounded] shall be subject to imnoundment by the director or the police.
