SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 136, Draft 2, the Proposed Operating Budget
for Fiscal Year 2024-2025
Below is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 136, Draft 2, the proposed Operating Budget for
fiscal year 20242025, to amend appropriations in the following General Fund revenue and
expenditure accounts:
• Increase the Fund Balance From PreWous Year revenue account by $116,000; and
• Increase the Fire Training Equipment, Motor Vehicle expense account by $116,000 to
add an additional full-size, sport utility vehicle ($60,000) for the Training Service Branch
and to add a new line item for a fireground survival trailer($56,000) that will allow
firefighters to practice calling a Mayday.
The above amendments to the General Fund accounts are shown in detail in the table below:
