Subject: Testify in support of Communication 756.2 which will amend the County Budget to
add $2.5M to a South Hawaii Animal Control Facility.
Aloha Hawaii Island Council Members:
I am deeply committed to supporting this amendment to the County
Budget. I have been dedicated to the cause of protecting and providing
support to abandoned, injured, non-spayed and abused animals for a long
time and this Communication 756.2 provides hope and a positive step
towards more safety for animals and people alike.
Having no animal care on the South part of the island has been a major
concern for many residents (including me) and this would be a first step in
changing things for the better. I would like to add that if I can help make
this happen in any way, please know that I am willing and able to help.
