I would respectfully ask you to approve the 2.5M funding for a South Kona Animal Control
Facility.We encounter lost, stray and injured animals in Ocean View on a daily basis. I
volunteer at free spay and neuter clinics here and see first hand how out of control our
situation is. We lost our Veterinarian last December with no new Vet to step in to take her
place so that means residents here have to travel with animals to Hilo or Kona and most
Vets are not taking new clients.Thank you for your consideration
