SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 136, Draft 3,the Proposed Operating Budget
for Fiscal Year 2024-2025
Below is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 136, Draft 3, the proposed Operating Budget for fiscal
year 2024-2025,to amend appropriations in the following General Fund expenditure accounts:
• Increase the Contingency Relief account by $472,500; and
• Decrease the Grants to Nonprofit Orgs account by $472,500.
After the Waiwai nonprofit grants are awarded for the fiscal year 2024-2025, there will be a
balance of$472,500;therefore, this amendment proposes to transfer $472,500 to the County
Council's Contingency Relief account.
The amendments to the General Fund accounts are shown in detail in the table below:
