Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs, to which was referred
Communication No. 854,reports as follows:
Communication No. 854,transmitted by Mayor Mitchell D. Roth, dated April 26, 2024, requests
the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Daisy Mitchell to the Kona
Community Development Plan Action Committee.
Deputy Managing Director Robert Command was present in the Kona Chambers to introduce
Ms. Mitchell, who was present in the Hilo Chambers.
Several members spoke in favor of the appointment.
Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Communication No. 854, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of
Daisy Mitchell to the Kona Community Development Plan Action Committee.
