Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs, to which was referred
Communication No. 851,reports as follows:
Communication No. 851,transmitted by Mayor Mitchell D. Roth, dated April 24, 2024, requests
the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Jasmine V. Crusat to the Liquor
Commission.
Deputy Managing Director Robert Command was present in the Kona Chambers to introduce
Ms. Crusat, who was present via Zoom.
Pursuant to Article VII, Chapter 3, Section 7-3.2 of the Hawai`i County Charter, members of the
Liquor Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council.
Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Communication No. 851, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of
Jasmine V. Crusat to the Liquor Commission.
