Re: Request to Withdraw Resolution 529-24, Agreement with the University of Hawai `i,
Hawaii Community College
On May 16, 2024, we transmitted a resolution to enter into an agreement with the
University of Hawaii, Hawaii Community College to facilitate the process of awarding
college credit towards the Hawaii Community College Fire Science Program to
individuals who receive college level learning during training in the County of Hawaii,
Hawaii Fire Department. At this time, we are requesting for the resolution, number 529-
24, and its related communication, numbered 890, be withdrawn. This resolution has
been placed on the Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs agenda
on June 4, 2024
