;NSY OF hq•' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I f-(6..efil.�' STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> BILL NO. 147 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 24 -3 ► <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24,ARTICLE 10,DIVISION 5, SECTION 24- <br /> , 279, SCHEDULE 27 OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION,AS <br /> AMENDED),RELATING TO PARKING ON PAVEMENT PROHIBITED AT ALL <br /> TIMES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY,OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to promote vehicular access and <br /> pedestrian safety on a narrow section of roadway. <br /> • SECTION 2, Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-279, schedule 27, entitled <br /> "Parking on pavement prohibited at all times,"subsection"(d) Ka`u,"of the Hawaii County <br /> Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding a new listing to be appropriately <br /> inserted and to read as follows: <br /> • Government Road, east side, from a point two hundred and three feet south of Ninole <br /> Loop Road and extending one hundred ten feet in the northern direction. <br /> SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance,the underscoring <br /> need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br />
