Transmitted herewith for Council approval is a resolution for the County to accept a 145
square foot piece of property at the intersection of Hanama Place and Kuakini Highway, in
Kailua-Kona. The dedication of this property will resolve the encroachment of Hanama Place
onto private property. The resolution will include Exhibits A and B, which are the legal
descriptions of the property to be dedicated. Also included in this communication is an aerial
view of the property that provides context as to where the property is in Kailua-Kona.
Our Office respectfully requests that this matter be placed on the Committee agenda
scheduled for Tuesday, June 18,2024.
