Aloha County Council,
I understand you are looking into the possibility of having Kalapana Transfer station open more than its
current one day a week.
Yes Please!!! Sometimes it just doesn't work for many residents to get there on Saturday, While most
people are respectful of rules,there are unfortunately those who just leave trash bags outside the locked
gates.
Obviously not a good look for the residents or for those visiting our beautiful island. Also the trashbags
might open and plastic bags can make it to the ocean which is a BIG environmental hazard for our turtles
and other sea animals like dolphins who might swallow plastic thinking it is a jellyfish.
Please help us by voting to open Kalapana Transfer an additional day a week.thanks so much,
