Aloha,
My name is Cindy Freitas and I mm a Native Hawaiian descended of the native inhabitants of Hawai'i
prior to 1778 and born and raised in Hawai'i.
I am also a practitioner who still practice the cultural traditional customary practices that was instill in
me by my grandparents at a young age from mauka(MOUNTAIN TO SEA)to makai in many areas.
I OPPOSE Bill 166 to Amend Section 25-8-3 for the following reasons:
1. By re-zoning this area it will affect the endanger species and plants that has their habitat living.
2. It will damage any pre-historic and pre-contact native Hawaiian properties in this area.
3. It will take out the rain line if this should happen.
4. These lands does not have title search to see were the origin of that land belong to..Starting from the
Great Mahele book which was done in 1843-1846.
5. Admission Act the people of the LAND did not relinquish their claim to the land.
Therefore this Bill 166 to Amend Section 25-8-3 should be OPPOSED.
