Subject: Testimony for Bill 166
Submitting testimony against the subdivision for the 20 acres of old rain forest growth. I've personally seen the federally
endangered Horay bat reside in this parcel.The parcel is full of Ohia trees and endemic plants and birds. I've recorded
the endangered Iwi in this area. This parcel is a critical part of maintaining the habitat up here that subdividing will
negatively impact.
Please don't just stamp approval of this parcel. Just because the neighbors subdivide shouldn't mean all parcels can be
subdivided. What's happening up in Kaloko area is the deforestation of the rain forest. Pure and simple.
