I reside in Pualani Estates and have recently heard about the Kona Vista's Development next to my
neighborhood. This is not a good plan for many reasons. We are a compact neighborhood with a lot of
traffic due to the amount of homes. If Kona Estates plans to connect via Pualani Estates this will be a
disaster with "through"traffic in addition to the current resident traffic. Our neighborhood is a family one
with many children playing outside. More traffic will cause parents to not let their children play outside
due to new safety issues. Queen K highway is already stop and go with traffic, even adding a couple lanes
will not work due to the amount of increased traffic from this neighborhood. Our schools are
overcrowded as it is and parents have to drive many miles south in traffic as it is now. Adding more
school age children will only add to the problem. There have got to be more plots of land more suited to
a development like Kona Vista's, instead of squeezing it in next to Pualani Estates.
I OPPOSE the Kona Vista;s Development. This proposed land is not suitable to condensed housing.
Please find a better land solution for this subdivision, for the sake of the existing residents and the new
residents of this subdivision.
