Subject: Red Road Transfer Station
Ever since the transfer station on Rt 137 closed for six days a week, irresponsible folks have been leaving
their trash on the easement and sometimes it overflows or blows onto the roadway.
We need a transfer station at least two days a week and preferably three like in the pre-Covud days.
If you must take one day away from Puako transfer or some other better served community,to make this
happen, please consider it as the resources in Puna are already stretched thin and people here do not
have the money to drive all the way up to Pahoa...many are on foot! Thank you!
