Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions, to which was referred Resolution
No. 544-24, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 544-24, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Sinclair Salas-Ferguson, via
Communication No. 913, dated May 28, 2024, accepts the dedication of Roadway "Lot 2,"being a
portion of Royal Patent 4475, Land Commission Award 7713, Apana 5 to V. Kamamalu, situated at
Keopu 3,North Kona, Island and County of Hawai`i, State of Hawai`i, a portion of Tax Map
Key: 7-5-007:033, from D&L Fujimoto, LLC, a Hawai`i Limited Liability Company.
The landowner seeks to dedicate the roadway and all improvements for public roadway purposes.
Chair Holeka Inaba explained that the County has an office on this property in town, and there is a
letter from the Department of Public Works to Corporation Counsel recommending that we accept this
dedication, and there is no opposition from the departments for this dedication.
Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Resolution No. 544-24, and recommends its adoption.
