These funds will be used to fund travel and training needed to increase the efficiency and readiness of the Police Department's Special Response Team (SRT). Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $50,537.
