STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> •f24 <br /> • �OFHF ' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 555 24 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF ANETIK PROTECH SHIRTS TO THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAI`I FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br /> WHEREAS, Anetik is donating three Anetik Pro Tech(UPF 30+protection) shirts <br /> per Ocean Safety employee to the County of Hawaii Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS,these Anetik Pro Tech shirts, valued at approximately $10,850, will be <br /> utilized by the Ocean Safety personnel to provide sun protection while on duty; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter,provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br /> resolution be sent to the Anetik, 1021 Calle Recodo, Suite B, San Clemente, CA 92673, <br /> acknowledging this generous donation. <br />
